Conflict Resolution
In order to engage productively in community development opportunities, citizens need constructive ways to openly address and resolve disagreements. Being able to comfortably approach conflict in a way that builds and maintains positive relationships is especially critical in today’s polarized climate. Michigan State University Extension offers hands-on educational opportunites, including workshops and materials that help people build the skills needed to manage a range of potential conflict situations—from one-one-one situations to large public meetings with a possible wide array of conflicting viewpoints.
