  • Native range: Central Europe and Southwest Asia

  • Shape: Rounded, spreading habit
  • Foliage: Leathery, coarsely-serrated, and prominently veined dark green leaves
  • Other: Tolerates a wide range of soils, highly salt tolerant, and is generally tolerant of many urban pollutants
  • Pests: No serious pest problems
