Updated 2016 registered pesticide list for Michigan chestnut producers
New pesticide reference available for Michigan chestnut growers through Michigan State University Extension.
In an effort to assist chestnut growers in making pesticide decisions, a new quick reference has been created. “Pesticides Registered for Edible Chestnuts, 2016” is available for download at the Michigan State University Extension Chestnuts website and includes registered insecticides, fungicides and herbicides as well as a guide to seasonal pest occurrence in Michigan.
To protect yourself, others and the environment, always read the label before applying any pesticides. Although efforts have been made to check the accuracy of information presented, it is the responsibility of the person using this information to verify that it is correct by reading the corresponding pesticide label in its entirety before using the product.
