Sheep and goats for small farms seminar March 14
Sheep and goats are ideal livestock for small farms in Michigan. People interested in starting or expanding a small farm to produce any or all of the major sheep and goat products (fiber, meat, or milk), should attend this special day-long event.
Michigan has an ideal climate for grass growth and has excellent markets for sheep and goat products. If you are interested in starting or expanding a small farm to produce any or all of the major sheep and goat products (fiber, meat, or milk), you will want to attend this special day-long educational event. The event will take place in Anthony Hall, 474 S. Shaw Lane, East Lansing, MI 48824 on the MSU campus. The event will be taught by Michigan State University Extension faculty and educators with extensive experience and expertise in the health, nutrition and management of sheep and goats.
