Save the date for the Midwest Nut Producers Council Annual Meeting on March 30

MNPC members and non-members are invited to the annual meeting to discuss topics such as the 2012 growing season, plans for chestnut blight research in 2013 and the priorities of the chestnut industry.

ChestnutThe Midwest Nut Producers Council (MNPC) Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 30, at the Clarksville Horticulture Experiment Station. Preregistration is not required. Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. MNPC members who have paid dues for 2013 will receive complimentary registration and lunch. Non-members of the MNPC are requested to pay a $15 donation to attend the meeting and share lunch.

The group will discuss the 2012 growing season, results of the North American Chestnut Farm Workshop, the 5th International Chestnut Conference, internal kernel breakdown studies, plans for chestnut blight research in 2013 and the priorities of the chestnut industry.
