Prowl H2O registered for use in highbush blueberry

New supplemental label issued for use on bearing and non-bearing bushberry.

EPA has approved a new supplemental label for use of Prowl H2O for annual grass and broadleaf weed control in highbush blueberry. Prowl H2O provides 4-6 weeks control of most annual grasses and broadleaves. Up to 2 applications may be made with a maximum of 6.3 qt per acre per year. Prowl H2O may be applied over recently transplanted crops. In established blueberry, it should be directed to the soil at the base of the plants.

Prowl H2O is most effective when used in combination with other preemergence herbicides to expand the spectrum of weed control. It does not have postemergence activity.
