Trying to keep current information on the ever changing commodity markets can be a full time job for most farm producers. Knowing that this busy time of year, a special webinar has been scheduled giving farm producers the opportunity to obtain valuable information related to grain and dairy market. To make it easier for farm producers to participate, the Commodity Marketing Update for Grains and Dairy seminar will be offered live using a webcast format which will then also be recorded. This seminar features Jim Hilker, a Commodity Marketing Specialist for Michigan State University Extension, who will focus on corn, wheat and soybean crops. Recent USDA Commodity Balance Sheet changes and adjustments have caused reactions in the markets. Hilker will provide background related to how the projected changes have caused some of these reactions in the market. Our other presenter will be Chris Wolf, Dairy Specialist for Michigan State University Extension. Wolf will update participants with an overview of factors that may impact the dairy industry. Both of these specialists work hard to stay current with a wide variety of information related to the commodity markets.

It seems that you can never have too much information when it comes to the rapidly changing commodity markets.
