Plan your next steps with 2012 field crops on-farm research and demonstration book

What’s new, what’s working, and should I try it? Find out in the 2012 Field Crops Team On-farm Research and Demonstration book.

The 2012 On-farm Research and Demonstration book developed by the Michigan State University Extension Field Crops Team is now available. This 80-page book has current and relevant research projects by educators and specialists throughout Michigan.

The publication highlights what is new and important for corn and soybean farmers. If you are considering growing bioenergy crops such as miscanthus or switchgrass, there are examples of how they yielded across the state. It includes variety trials for corn, soybean, oats, spring wheat, spring barley and switchgrass.

This book will provide you with information to help your farming operation now and into the future.

The Field Crop Team would like to thank the Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee, North Central SARE, Project GREEEN, U.S. Department of Energy, Great Lakes Bioenergy, and Michigan State University Extension for supporting this initiative.
