Pesticide applicator manual review and exam sessions in Ionia and Eaton counties
Pesticide applicator manual review sessions offer excellent preparation for the Michigan pesticide licensing exam.
Michigan State University Extension will be offering a pesticide manual review session in Ionia County on Feb. 25, 2016, at the Clarkesville Research Station in Clarkesville, Michigan, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Another review session will be offered in Eaton County on March 9, 2016, at the Eaton County MSU Extension office in Charlotte, Michigan, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. These review sessions are intended to prepare participants for the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) pesticide applicator certification exam. The regular exam will be held at 1 p.m. following the review session at each location.
Attendance to the review session is optional and not required to take the MDARD exam. Those attending only the review session will receive four certification credits.
Each review sessions will consist of a chapter-by-chapter revision of the pesticide core manual. Emphasize will be to prepare participants for the test using multiple choice practice questions.

Those taking the exam must bring a separate check made payable to the State of Michigan. The cost for the private exam is $50 and the commercial exam is $75. MDARD staff does not accept cash payment for the exam.
