Interested in learning how to optimize efficiency of feed usage from field to feedbunk and the appropriate use of beta agonists (Optaflexx and Zilmax) in beef cattle rations? These topics and many more will be discussed at the  Great Lakes Professional Cattle Feeding and Marketing Shortcourse to be held  on January 24 in East Lansing, MI; January 25 in Bowling Green, OH; and January 26 in Wyoming, ON. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. A $35 registration fee can be paid at the door or mailed to Faye Watson, Dept. Animal Science, Michigan State University, 1290 Anthony Hall, East Lansing, MI 48824. A second session held in February at the same locations and  will discuss marketing issues  for beef cattle.
