Natural Shoreline Landscapes program coming to NW Michigan

Two programs on natural shoreline landscaping to be held in Frankfort and Traverse City, Mich.

Do you wonder why folks tell you not to pull all the weeds from your beach? Have you wondered how to protect your shore from erosion? Do you want landscaping ideas for your waterfront? This program is designed for waterside property owners and people who work with them. The four-hour class (9 AM – 1 PM) will be held April 30 at the Grand Traverse Conservation District, Boardman River Nature Center, 1450 Cass Rd., Traverse City, MI and again on May 14 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 955 James St., Frankfort, MI.
