MSU insect wall chart for greenhouses goes mobile

The MSU Insect Controls for the Greenhouse Industry poster is now available for smart phones.

The Michigan State University Extension publication Insect Controls for the Greenhouse Industry, traditionally available for purchase as a paper poster at the MSU Extension Bookstore, is now offered electronically. The application is a reference guide for commercial pesticides approved for use in greenhouses, listed by pest and is intended for commercial greenhouse growers who are primarily raising ornamentals or vegetable transplants.

The main screen displays a list of common greenhouse pests (Photo 1). When you choose a pest, a list of greenhouse approved pesticides labeled for that pest appears alphabetically (Photo 2). Click on any one of the pesticides for more details about that product (Photo 3).
