MSU Extension economic developer presents class on basic QuickBooks training

Small business owners flock to QuickBooks and can learn how to set-up properly with MSU Extension workshop.

Small businesses are automating their bookkeeping and accounting by using QuickBooks accounting software. Some of the small businesses do not set-up their software properly. If you want to learn how to install your QuickBooks software, and properly set it up, learn basic functions, this workshop is for you. This workshop is presented by Michigan State University Extension on December 20. This workshop is a two-hour class on how to set-up and use your QuickBooks software for your small business. Three workshops are being held in Ontonagon, Ironwood and Watersmeet, Mich.  

The workshop is presented by MSUE business development expert Paul J. Werner, who is based in L’Anse, Mich. This workshop will give a basic how-to on setting up QuickBooks, basic bookkeeping, basic accounting and bill-paying through the QuickBooks software program.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptop computers, QuickBook accounting software issues and ideas on how to use the software. Participants will have the opportunity to share their ideas and shortcuts with other participants.
