Commodity market update for grains and dairy

An online Commodity Market Update for grains and dairy will be available to the public Monday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. - noon.

Michigan State University Extension will be sponsoring a commodity market update for grain and dairy producers. This live program is also available online for all registrants to view when it best fits their schedule. Individuals or groups who would like to participate in this live presentation can register in two ways. Those who live locally can register at the MSU Extension office located at 37 Austin St. Sandusky, Mich. from 10 a.m. – noon, Monday, Aug. 25. There is also the option of registering online and watching the webinar broadcast from home. Registered participants will also receive an email notice that will allow them to watch a recording of the meeting any time after the session as ended.   

From 10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., Chris Wolf, dairy specialist at Michigan State University, will cover the dairy market update. Jim Hilker, commodity marketing specialist at Michigan State University, will be presenting the grains market update from 10:45 - noon. Current topics related to farms in the Saginaw Valley area will also be discussed.
