Creating and retaining jobs in Michigan is the cornerstone of any plan for Michigan’s future. Michigan State University (MSU) Extension educators work directly with Michigan business owners, farmers, agricultural production managers and entrepreneurs, getting them the knowledge they need to remain competitive, earn a profit and keep Michigan residents working.

Getting the latest research from MSU’s campus directly to employers is what MSU educators and innovation counselors do on a daily basis. Employers and workers can get email alerts with news from agriculture and agribusiness educators delivered to their desktop, laptop or mobile phone.

MSU Extension has helped grow Michigan’s agriculture and agribusiness sector to the $71.3 billion annual economic engine that exists today. More importantly, we are right there working with anyone who wants to grow that sector to an $80, $90 even $100 billion sector of our state’s economy.
