Bio:

Shelby Burlew is a livestock environmental educator with Michigan State University Extension. She works with all livestock operations (regardless of size or species) throughout the state to mitigate or prevent environmental impacts. Her focus is on development of educational programs or tools to address manure management (from storage to field application), odor management and mortality management. She also works with farms looking to create new, or expand their current livestock facilitates. Her Extension efforts also include developing content on climate variability and specifically how it affects livestock operations.
