Paola Bacigalupo-Sanguesa was born and raised in Chile and has an avid interest in livestock and dairy. After completing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in Chile, she went on to Colorado State University to complete her Master’s degree. As a vet student, Bacigalupo-Sanguesa was part of a NGO that allowed her to serve as a resource for small livestock farms in the southern part of Chile. She comes to Extension with many skills and a big passion for agriculture and dairy farming. Her interests are animal health, animal welfare, employee training and public and consumer education about agriculture, the dairy industry and dairy products.
