Kea Norrell-Aitch is a 4-H Educator with Michigan State University Extension. She is in the Children and Youth Institute, Children and Family Development Work Team and the Healthy Living Work Group. Ms. Norrell-Aitch started with MSUE in 2006 and spent the first seven years of her career in Detroit overseeing a large 4-H mentoring program. More recently, Ms. Norrell-Aitch is the PI for the Michigan Walmart Youth Voice Youth Choice 4-H Healthy Living grant and provides statewide leadership to 4-H healthy living programs for children and families to promote an increase of physical fitness and good nutrition. Ms. Norrell-Aitch is a member of the Michigan First Generation 4-H task force in which she is the liaison to the North Central region of 4-H. She is dedicated to positive youth development and has a passion for increasing equal opportunities for urban youth to become successful. Ms. Norrell-Aitch loves helping others and is very involved in numerous community service projects. She possesses a BS in Family and Community Services from Michigan State University and a Masters in Family Counseling from Spring Arbor University.
