West Michigan Summer Nursery Tour

The 2012 West Michigan Summer Nursery Tour begins at 9 a.m. with refreshments at BFN-Michigan Division. Berry Family Nursery-Michigan Division will provide a bus again for summer tour so park your vehicle in the lot and ride with fellow growers. The tour will end up back in the parking lot in the afternoon.

Registration deadline is August 6 by 5 p.m. To register please call Judy at Ottawa County Extension at 616-994-4548 or email her at hanson26@msu.edu.

"Container Herbicide Trials"

  • Evaluate herbicides on Hemerocallis, Euonymus, Hibiscus, Berberis, Sambucus and Echinacea.

"Container Grown Trees with Conventional Organic Fertilizer"

"Field Herbicide Trials"

  • Evaluate weed control in Syrenga, Taxus and Buxus liners.
