Small-scale wind, solar and wood energy systems are gaining popularity in northwest Michigan. Learn about trends, planning and zoning issues and sample zoning language. This webinar is hosted by the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments and MSU Extension. The program will be presented by Dean Solomon, senior natural resources and land use educator with MSU Extension. Participants need access to broadband internet but no special sofware is needed to participate. Workshop fee is $30, payable by mailing a check or credit card with online registration. The registration deadline is May 24, 2013. Registrants are eligible to receive 2 Master Citizen Planner (MCP) credits for participation.
