Interested in helping youth learn STEM through Lego Robotics but don’t know where to start? This training is designed to help teachers, parents and adult volunteers and older teen mentors prepare to lead youth activities using EV3, LEGO’s newest line of Mindstorm robotics during the in and out of school hours.
Using LEGO pieces and a “brick” control unit, you will learn to help guide kids as they build and program their own robot creations. This popular robotics format teaches more than just “robotics,” and the EV3 units are also the standard unit for FIRST Lego League. This training will introduce you to the software, programming, and challenges associated with LEGO robotics. Youth participants in your class, program or group will learn many STEM skills and concepts.
FEE: $30/person which includes lunch and handouts (DiBella’s Box Lunch Preference selected at registration.)
