Educational presentations will highlight the innovative systems research project that has been launched at UPREC in order to assess improvements to soil health and how integration of cropping and livestock systems can support the UP farmer. Additional presentations will highlight malting barley research and the development of a student-run farm that will focus on utilization of season extension technologies.

Hoop house design and build and four season farming techniques will be addressed. The bio fuel production process will also be exhibited and the keynote address will be delivered by Dr. John Baker, Associate Director of AgBioResearch. Lunch is sponsored by Farm Bureau. Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits are available.
