This year’s program will include hands-on sprayer nozzles and deposition workshop, pesticide storage and mix/load facilities pruning for plant structure and health care, stormwater retention facility management, and a diagnostic walking tour of the diverse landscape of Northern Michigan University’s campus and nursery. Program instructors are John Stone, coordinator of the MSU Pesticide Safety Education Program and an instructor with the Ag Tech Lawn and Landscape program. Dave White from MDARD will lead the storage, mix/load workshop. Registration and check-in is 7:30 to 8 a.m. Eight MDARD recertification credits in Commercial or Private Core, or Categories 2, 3A, 3B, 5 and 6 are available. Lunch will be provided. Please bring your pruning tools. Bring samples for diagnosis. The program will be mostly outside, rain or shine.
Costs: $75, Includes lunch
