Understanding Children’s Anger

This session will provide participants with an understanding of the developmental stages of self-control and emotional literacy in children. Activities and techniques will be introduced that support social emotional development to reduce stress and anger, improve communication skills and teach ways to make positive behavior changes. This training, for child care providers, parents and others caring for young children is being offered in partnership with the Southeast Michigan Great Start to Quality Regional Resource Center.

There is a $10 registration fee that must be paid online prior to the course, through the Great Start Connect system. Participants will receive a certificate for two hours of training.
