With the goal of attracting farmers/growers, restaurants, schools, retail outlets, health professionals, economic developers, elected officials and community leaders, and citizens, the Together at the Farm - U.P. Local Food Conference is truly designed for anyone, and everyone, interested in learning more about local food. Featuring keynote speaker, Eliot Coleman who is a renowned speaker with more than 40 years of experience in all aspects of organic farming, including field vegetables, greenhouse vegetables, rotational grazing of cattle and sheep, and range poultry. Eliot is also the author of The New Organic Grower, Four Season Harvest and the Winter Harvest Handbook.

Participant Registration

The conference takes place from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 and is followed by an evening dinner.  Attendees may register for one or both of these events. Everyone is invited to the barn dance Saturday evening from 8-11 p.m. There is no registration fee for the barn dance, but a suggested donation of $5.00 is encouraged.
