Stress Less with Mindfulness series introduces participants to the experience and practice of mindfulness to reduce stress. Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. Research has shown that the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses are effective in reducing stress-related symptoms such as anxiety, worry, depression, and physical tension, and be helpful in managing cardiac disease and diabetes.

When:       Wednesdays – Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26 & Nov. 2, 2016

Time:         6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Cost:         $25 per person or couple for the series

Taught by MSU Extension Educators Terry Jones and Lisa Tams.
