Stress Less with Mindfulness Series

Stress Less with Mindfulness class introduces participants to the experience and practice of mindfulness to reduce stress. Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. Research has shown that the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses are effective in reducing stress-related symptoms such as worry, depression, and physical tension, and be helpful in managing cardiac disease and diabetes. The classes will be held on Tuesdays 1:30 to 3:00 pm. Pre register by Feb. 8, 2016 by calling 734-240-3179. Cost $20.00 per person or couple.
