Stress Less with Mindfulness

Stress Less with Mindfulness series introduces participants to the experience and practice of mindfulness to reduce stress. Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. Research has shown that the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses are effective in reducing stress-related symptoms such as anxiety, worry, depression, and physical tension, and be helpful in managing cardiac disease and diabetes. The class will meet on Tuesdays-July 26, Aug 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2016. There is a $25.00 fee per person or couple for the series.
