Whether you have dabbled witha home-baked cookie under the Cottage Food Law, or dreamed about bottling grandma’s spaghetti sauce, food products are serious business. Topics covered in this session include basic food processing, regulatory requirements, business development resources and other related topics. Starting a Licensed Food Business will be offered 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Niles Entrepreneur & Culinary Incubator at 219 North 4th Street/2nd Floor, Niles MI 49120. Michigan State University Extension Educator, Joanne Davidhizar, will teach the session. Niles Main Street and Lake Michigan College are co-sponsoring the program.
