The basics of canning will be incorporated into this class using a popular salsa recipe. We will also discuss the “laws of salsa” providing research based information to all home canners about what can be added to homemade salsa and what cannot. Learn how to prepare and preserve a variety of salsas. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference
The cost of the workshop is $10.00. Registrations for SNAP participants will be waived upon verification at check-in.
This workshop will be taught by Eileen Haraminac, an experienced MSU Extension food safety educator.
