Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center Annual Research Tour

Time: Registration 8 - 8:45 a.m. Tour begins at 9 a.m. Lunch at noon, MSU program 12:30 p.m.

Wagon transportation touring various research topics and MSU Extension specialists. Lunch is included in registration fee.
8 - 8:45 a.m. - Registration & refreshments. Cost is $20 per person, at the door (please make checks payable to Michigan State University).
9 a.m. - Tours begins, 20 minute stops. Research tour emphasis will be in sugarbeets, dry edible beans and other Saginaw Valley crops. Topics covered will be: Variety development, nitrogen research, weed management, disease control and insects.
Noon - Lunch
12:30 p.m. - What's Now? What's Next? Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Approval pending for CCA and RUP credits.
The research farm is located one mile West of Richville, MI (on M-46), 1/2 mile South on Reese Road.
