Rest Time Refresher: What Children Need to Know to Start School
Date: April 22, 2014
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Join MSU Extension’s Early Childhood Education staff for a one-hour online training opportunity held during nap time. Connect through your computer and learn about a variety of topics! Sessions will last 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions and answers. Participants that attend and actively participate will receive a certificate of completion for one training hour emailed directly to them afterwards.
By the end of Kindergarten a child will have been in class for 700 hours; but before it begins, parents, grandparents, child care providers, family members, churches, businesses, libraries and communities will have had the child for 52,000 hours. Learn more about what teachers want children to know to start school and how to best support early learning.
