Rest Time Refresher: The ABCs of Early Literacy

Join MSU Extension’s Early Childhood Education staff for a one-hour online training opportunity held during nap time. Connect through your computer and learn about a variety of topics! Sessions will last 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions and answers. Participants that attend and actively participate will receive a certificate of completion for one training hour emailed directly to them afterwards.
Literacy development begins at birth! These critical pre-reading or emergent literacy skills set the stage for children to be ready to learn to read when they enter Kindergarten. Learn more about why early literacy development is so important and how to help very young children become successful readers by the third grade.
