Rest Time Refresher: Setting the Stage Promoting Social Emotional Health in Young Children

Join MSU Extension’s Early Childhood Education staff for a one-hour online training opportunity held during nap time. Connect through your computer and learn about a variety of topics! Sessions will last 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions and answers. Participants that attend and actively participate will receive a certificate of completion for 1 training hour emailed directly to them afterwards.
Social emotional skills can be nurtured by parents and caregivers through daily routine, children’s literature and language, and, playing to learn. The workshop will discuss social emotional skills that are fundamental to healthy development and school success and explore children’s literature that can assist in teaching the skills.
