Rest Time Refresher: Mindfulness for Children: Helping Kids Manage Stress

Join MSU Extension’s Early Childhood Education staff for a one-hour online training opportunity held during nap time. Connect through your computer and learn about a variety of topics! Sessions will last 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions and answers. Participants that attend and actively participate will receive a certificate of completion for one training hour emailed directly to them.

Techniques of mindful awareness can help children learn to pay closer attention to their thoughts, feelings and
emotions. Come and learn ways to help children reduce stress and anxiety to enhance their well being. Explore what the research says, get ideas for mindfulness activities and explore children’s literacy that supports mindfulness practices.

HOW: Once you register a receipt and confirmation will be emailed to you. The link to the online training will be emailed to each paid participant the day before the training.

COST: $5 per person (each person must register separately in order to receive a completion certificate even if participating from the same physical site)
