Reproductive Management

This program features Michigan dairy producers and their veterinarians illustrating their various approaches to getting cows pregnant in a timely manner.

The program is from 10 a.m. to Noon —  Lunch will be served (RSVP required).

Three Michigan dairy producers: Jason Benthem, Norm Buning, and Molly (Yonkman) Pluger and their veterinarian, Dr. Jeff Erdman (Airport Animal Clinic) will discuss current reproductive management strategies and why they are working for them.  Strategies include Electronic Heat Detection, only Timed AI, and a combination of Timed AI and Tail Chalking.

Drs. J. Richard Pursley and Kathy Lee will lead discussions.

There is no charge, however, pre-registration is required at least 2 days prior to the event.
