There are many times in life when having good interviewing skills can make or break your chances at landing that opportunity. Whether you're interviewing for a new job, a scholarship or award, or for a project that you've been working on, learning to effectively communicate what you learned and what you have to offer are the keys to landing that opportunity! The workshop will begin with a brief presentation on preparing for an interview with tips and pointers for tailoring your approach to different situations. Then students will have a chance to practice giving "mock interviews" with community members. Bring your 4-H resume or a copy of your project book if you're a current 4-H member. If you're not a current 4-H member, bring a resume or even just bring yourself!
