Project Fresh is an educational program that offers participant’s coupons to purchase fruits and vegetables form farmers markets that have been frown locally. There will be new sessions every hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Through Project Fresh you will learn how to choose produce that is locally grown, new ideas for preparing fruits and vegetables, storage and preservation for fresh fruits and vegetables, how to increase your fruit and vegetable intake and other local resources in your community.
Project Fresh was created by the Farmers Market Nutrition Program and operates currently in Michigan through the Michigan Department of Community Health.
