Preserving Summer’s Harvest Water Bath and Pressure Canning - Genesee County

This class will take place in Genesee County at the Genesee County MSU Extension Office, 605 N. Saginaw Street, Suite 1A, Flint, MI, 48502.  The class will be taught on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. 

Basics of food preservation - Learn how to successfully and safely use a pressure canner for low acid foods and a water bath canner for acid foods. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference.

The cost of the workshop is $15.00. Registrations for SNAP particpants will be waived upon verificaation at check-in.

This workshop will be taught by an experienced MSU Extension food safety educator.
