Jams & Jellies - Learn how to prepare freezer jams and jellies as well as canned jams and jellies. This class will provide you with handouts and resources to reference.

Salsas - Learn how to prepare and preserve a variety of salsas. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference.

Chutneys - Learn how to prepare and preserve a variety of chutneys. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference.

Freezing - Learn how to successfully freeze foods. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference.

Drying - Learn how to successfully dry foods in a variety of ways. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference.

Basics of food preservation - Learn how to successfully and safely use a pressure canner for low acid foods and a water bath canner for acid foods. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference.

The cost of the workshop is $15.00. Registrations for SNAP participants will be waived upon verification at check-in.

This workshop will be taught by an experienced MSU Extension food safety educator.
