How Knowledge of the Weather Can Inform Pest Management Decisions

Weather impacts all aspects of agriculture and horticulture. A good understanding of weather influences allows pest management practitioners to select appropriate and timely strategies for control. This talk will cover the various influences of weather on the growth of the crop and on pests and diseases. We will also discuss sources of weather information, including MSU’s Enviro-weather Program.

Diagnostic Jeopardy

Have fun learning and discussing Pest ID (insects, weeds and diseases), IPM Strategies, and Plant Health Care.
