Dr. Tim Borich will be drawing upon his Extension experience from the local, state, regional and national levels, and engage participants with some of the key elements in building CRED programming and gaging its success. He will aid this discussion by providing some historical context as to the evolution and trends he has seen and is seeing. He will also highlight some of the quirks found in Iowa and other states and the great variability found between states. Finally, he will lead a discussion on some of the possible trends not only effecting CRED programming, but may be generated by it. Presenter: Dr. Tim Borich has been involved with the study and practice of community development for over 40 years. He presently serves as the director and program leader of the university-wide unit involved with Extension and Outreach activities related to community and economic development. He also serves as the Associate Dean for Extension and Outreach at the Iowa State University College of Design. There is no registration and no fee for attending this webinar.
