Would you like to feel better, be in control, and do the things you want to do? The PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) workshop is for you! PATH is a workshop for people with long-term health conditions like arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and depression. Workshops are led by trained facilitators who understand or have health problems like you. People who take the workshop say they are better able to face the daily challenges of living with an ongoing health condition. They have more energy and less pain, get more exercise, feel more comfortable talking to their doctors, and are more confident that they can manage their health. The workshop will be held on Tuesdays from February 28 through March 28 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Community Room at Potter Elementary School. The workshop is free and is sponsored by Potter Elementary School Community Education and Michigan State University Extension. Call Jesse, 810-767-8328, to register. If you have questions, please contact Cathy Newkirk, MSU Extension, 810-244-8523 or newkirk@msu.edu.
