PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) for Diabetes

PATH for Diabetes is designed for people who have diabetes as well as their family members and caregivers. Through this six week workshop you'll learn strategies to help you deal with difficult emotions, how to develop a healthy eating and exercise plan, goal setting and problem solving. Additional topics include:

  1. techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress, and emotional problems such as depression, anger, fear and frustration
  2. appropriate use of medication
  3. working more effectively with health care providers

The cost is $15 for the full six weeks. Participants will receive the book, "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions" and those who complete the six weeks will receive a $15 gift card.
