This year's Oceana Asparagus Day will again bring together MSU researchers and industry members to update growers on the latest challenges and opportunities in asparagus production. Topics of discussion will include asparagus variety performance, a panel discussion about H2A as a labor source, updates from MACMA-asparagus and the MAEAP program, and the latest MSU research on weed, insect, disease and irrigation management.

This year, Dr. Randy Beaudry of MSU will also join us to discuss post-harvest handling of asparagus destined for the fresh market. Exhibitors will include chemical companies, agricultural suppliers and commodity organizations. Pesticide Re-certification and CCA credits will be requested.
