Nurturing Parenting programs empower families and all those who care for children with new knowledge, beliefs, strategies and skills. The programs are evidence-based, and were developed by Stephen J. Bavolek, Ph.D.
Topics include:
- Child development
- Ways to deal with stress and anger
- Building self-esteem
- Understanding feelings
- Values and rules
- Alternatives to spanking.
Registration is required by Jan. 11, 2013. The $50 fee covers a second person if you share materials. Each participant receives a certificate upon completion of series.
