Get energized as you network with volunteers, county-based staff and state specialists from the 12 states in the North Central Region. Leave with new ideas you can use to infuse HEART into your 4-H programs! We are offering three dynamic sessions that are offered twice to accomodate viewers in different time zones.
We are seeking individuals to host these great sessions in their hometown or county for a group big or small! You can register to host one or all of these fun sessions and meet in any location as long as you can connect with us live through Adobe Connect. Hosting an event is fun and easy and you will be provided with a facilitators guide. We are also providing a flyer and bookmark to assust with your promtional efforts.
The HEART of Belonging, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. (ET) and Oct. 13 at 8 p.m.(ET)
Learn how to guide youth in developing a list of club or group expectations that accomodates all members, to support youth with special needs and discover resources to help you in your role as a caring adult. Leave with activities that will help you foster positive behavior, belonging, and inclusion in your club.
The HEART of Community, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. (ET) and Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. (ET)
Volunteers in this session will be prepared to help youth find their voices as they become actively engaged in their communities. The session will include resources and models to incorporate mastery, belonging, generosity and independence as you include citizenship actvities in 4-H settings.
Encouraging the HEART of Leadership Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. (ET) and Dec. 8 at 8 p.m.(ET)
Young people do not magically become leaders at age 13. They are nutured from their first 4-H experience. You’ll receive tools to help inspire youth of all ages to discover and develop independence and mastery.
