Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop concludes at 3:00 p.m. Materials, morning refreshments and lunch provided.
High school teachers and professionals working with high school-age youth. This workshop will provide you with the tools to educate students in the fundamentals of sound money management and the basic concepts of financial planning and personal responsibility. The curriculum is great on its own or as an addition to your current materials and is free through this training. Come see the newly revised 2012 curriculum.
Attend and receive: HSFPP Curriculum, hands-on training, a review of the program’s purpose, content and teaching techniques, and lunch! The training and curriculum are FREE but you must pre-register!
Curriculum features: Organized into six module topics (planning, borrowing, earning capability, investing, financial services, and insurance), the program includes six topical Student Guides, an assortment of 45-minute teacher lesson plans, and a growing collection of online resources and learning activities.
