MSU Extension celebrates 100 years under the Smith-Lever Act

Come learn and experience the many resources and programs available through Michigan State University Extension as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Smith Lever Act that established the Cooperative Extension Service. There will be a family-friendly celebration—including simulated cow milking, make your own butter, 4-H make and take crafts, garden tours, dog agility demonstrations, china art display, food demonstrations, entrepreneurship resources, budgeting tips, raffles and more—held on June 7th at the Macomb MSU Extension Office, 21885 Dunham, Clinton Township, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the north parking lot/back of the VerKuilen building. Additionally, the Annual Master Gardener Plant Exchange will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, where community members can exchange perennials, bulbs, and horticultural experiences. The event is FREE and OPEN to the public, no registration required.
