People understand and use money within the context of their culture and life experiences. While there is no “right” or “wrong” way to handle money, some ways are more likely to increase financial control and independence.

Using the Dollar Works 2 curriculum, this seminar will teach you the essentials of:

  • Making money decisions
  • Managing your spending plan
  • Using credit wisely
  • Saving and investing
  • Understanding identity theft and fraud

There are two classes taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays on September 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24, 2015. Attendees may choose the 1:15 - 2:15 p.m. sessions or the 2:45 - 3:45 p.m. sessions. All six classes must be completed for a certificate. The workshops will take place at FloraCraft, 1 Longfellow, Ludington, MI 49431. Classes are free, open to the public. To register contact Bill Hendrian at hendria2@msu.edu or (231) 757-4789.
